Ambiance was started by riders who got tired of weekends that were 30% riding and 70% admin. So we built the tours we wanted to be on — and opened a few seats to anyone who'd enjoy the same.
Small groups
6–8 riders. Big enough for a good dinner, small enough that we never lose anyone at a roundabout.
Scouted routes
Every metre ridden in advance. Fuel stops, lunch, view points, wet-weather alternatives — all in the briefing.
Real hotels
One base hotel per tour where possible. Unpack once, ride loops, sleep in the same bed two nights running.

Twenty-plus years of riding, an annoying tendency to recce roads on his holidays, and an IAM RoadSmart qualification to keep things honest. Will happily talk tyre pressures for longer than is reasonable.
